Howie P.S.: Amy Goodman talks with Scott Horton about the political, human rights and legal issues that are raised by the release of the Bush-era memos authorizing torture techniques. Horton points out that the CIA began using the torture techniques several months before their lawyers produced the legal opinions that justified them. Scott Horton is a New York attorney known for his work in human rights law, an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School and a legal affairs and national security contributor for Harper's Magazine.
