"Dean accuses president of `bullying'"

AP:
WASHINGTON Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean says President Bush has taken a "my way or the highway" approach to leading the country.

Dean says it's time for Bush and the Republicans to stop "bullying their way" through the war and instead work with Democrats to try to end it.

In the Democratic party's weekly radio address, Dean called for Bush to "show respect to the American people," saying they voted overwhelmingly to get out of Iraq.

In the president's address, Bush criticized Democrats for going on spring break without sending him a war spending bill free of orders to pull troops out of Iraq.

Democratic leaders have yet to come up with a final version to send to the Oval Office, but Bush has made it clear that he'll veto anything with a withdrawal deadline attached.
