"Remain Vigilant, History Repeats Itself"

The targeting of Japanese Americans as enemies of war was race prejudice. The targeting of Muslims as terrorists is religious prejudice. Instead of a war against Japan, it is a war against terrorism. Instead of suspicion of Japanese Americans, it is suspicion of Muslim Americans. It is important that Japanese Americans remain vigilant for these kinds of statements, because history is bound to repeat itself. We cannot accept these words. We are, after all, at war. MORE...
