"Melissa Harris-Perry: How Obama Can Capture the Spirit of 2008 in 2012" (video)

Anna Lekas Miller (The Nation) with video (03:45) from MSNBC:

On Obama, Cornel West and Melissa Harris-Perry (with video)

HuffPo with video (09:02)from MSNBC-ED Schultz:
Ed Schultz sparred with Prof. Cornel West about President Obama after a day after the high-profile scholar and leading black intellectual gave a scathing interview condemning Obama's term in office.

lauraflanders, video (09:48):
"We need to be covering the left as much as we cover, with anxiety, the right," notes Nation contributor and Princeton professor Melissa Harris-Lacewell. The lack of coverage of progressive movements, protests, and actions in the face of a loud, angry and well-funded right wing can be disheartening, but we know they are out there, and in some cases fighting hard to keep a Tea Party backed Republican party from taking back seats in Congress ding the midterms.

Melissa joins us in studio to discuss the upcoming elections, the media message, and what progressives can do to fight back.
