I started posting on HowieinSeattle in 11/04, following progressive American politics in the spirit of Howard Dean's effort to "Take Our Country Back." I decided to follow my heart and posted on seattleforbarackobama from 2/07 to 11/08.--"Howie Martin is the Abe Linkin' of progressive Seattle."--Michael Hood.

"Microtargeting Bob Vila?"

First Read (MSNBC):
None other than Bob Vila will begin campaigning for Clinton in Iowa tomorrow. He did a similar tour in New Hampshire a few weeks back.
Anyone bet that Vila's PBS show probably has a fascinating caucus-goer demographic? And considering Mark Penn's book on microtargeting, one has to assume Team Clinton has polled on this, right? Anyway, too little attention has been given to the Democrats trying to catch up to the Republicans on microtargeting. Using Oprah as an organizing tool and seeing Bob Vila on the stump says that there is more sophisticated research being done that's beyond polling.
