Regardless of what you think of his policies, Democratic candidate John Edwards may be the most honest of the three popular Democrats running. For example, he has no problem saying that he’ll need to raise taxes for his universal healthcare plan, or that he made a mistake in voting for the war in Iraq (something Hillary still refuses to admit). Edward’s honesty and substance is a relief from patronizing candidates who simply fill time without saying anything at all.
I started posting on HowieinSeattle in 11/04, following progressive American politics in the spirit of Howard Dean's effort to "Take Our Country Back." I decided to follow my heart and posted on seattleforbarackobama from 2/07 to 11/08.--"Howie Martin is the Abe Linkin' of progressive Seattle."--Michael Hood.
