KIRO 7 Eyewitness News will broadcast the first live televised debate between Seattle mayoral candidates Joe Mallahan and Mike McGinn. This debate airs on Sunday, October 18, at 6 p.m. on channel 7 and Comcast 107.
In addition, the station will broadcast the final live televised debate between King County Executive candidates Dow Constantine and Susan Hutchison. It airs on Sunday, October 25, at 6 p.m., also on channel 7 and Comcast 107.
The Seattle mayoral debate will be moderated by KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Anchors Steve Raible and Angela Russell. Voters can submit questions on kirotv.com and through Twitter at twitter.com/kiro7seattle.
The King County Executive debate will be town hall-style, with a studio audience at Emerald Downs. Audience members will have the opportunity to directly ask the candidates their views on important issues affecting life in King County.
