"Media Magnifies Obama's mistake, remember Howard Dean!!"

NMDan's diary on Kos:
The Corporate monkeys are going to do the same thing to any of the Democratic frontrunners as they did to Howard Dean with the now infamous "Dean Scream." If you recall Howard Dean had so much momentum and was taking little money from the big multinational corporations. If this guy made any error on the campaign trail, you could bet it would be on news or written media the next day. He wasn't a "player" in the big scheme of things and I sense that they want to take down yet another big player who isn't playing the "registered lobbyist" game and the fat cats who control everything behind the scenes want to take him down.
I have not taken money from federal registered lobbyists. We're not taking money from PACs. What we are doing is organizing ordinary people to do extraordinary things all across the country. And that's what it's going to require in order to change politics in this country.

Barack Obama

Obama was in Richmond Virginia giving a campaign speech.

"In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died—an entire town destroyed,"

He was trying emphasize the point regarding the shortage of National Guard units to help with the tornado cleanup. Instead of saying 10 he said 10,000 and realized his mistake a few minutes during the speech.

"There are going to be times when I get tired," he said. "There are going to be times when I get weary. There are going to be times when I make mistakes."

This story was posted on MSNBC and Drudgereport as if it had a significance. It was a "drive by hit" like Limbaugh likes to call it.

I suspect they are going to try to do the same thing that they did to Howard Dean in order to bring him down before the primaries. They corporate news will focus on the negatives and present him in a bad light....

Please scrutinize any mischaracterizations any of these media whores place on our candidates..
