Greg Nickels is going to get everything thing he wants for the next two years. Conlin will have to dig down deep to find the guts to take on Nickels. Doesn't look good.
Meanwhile, Rep. Ed Murray needs to pull the trigger on whether to challenge Sen. Pat Thibaudeau. It's bad form to tell people you're thinking about it, and then not do it. Seems Murray has ruled out going after Jim McDermott's seat.
Josh Feit has an interesting tidbit... Is Paul Berendt out as the Democrats' chief? If so, does Dwight Pelz have the inside track? Is he right for the job? I would prefer to have him on the City Council."
