"Fate of DADT and DREAM Act decided today" (with live streaming video)

Barbara Morrill (Kos front page):
The final debates before holding cloture votes on the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" and the DREAM Act are happening in the Senate right now. Both bills will require 60 votes to end debate and move on to final passage.

And while the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" is widely expected to get the needed 60 votes, sadly it appears that the DREAM Act will not.

The first cloture vote will be on the DREAM Act, and is scheduled for approximately 10:30 (EST).

You can watch the action on CSPAN here.

Howie P.S.: Alex Pareene (Salon-The War Room) argues "It's still OK to hate Joe Lieberman":
Sure, he's fighting to repeal "don't ask, don't tell." He's also still a sanctimonious troll.
