The P-I does a feature on the guy running against the incumbent mayor. Have there been any debates or other coverage in the major media anywhere? Just asking. Oddly, I couldn't find anything in the P-I about the Democratic shutdown of the US Senate yesterday. Here's the Seattle Times story, from the LA Times. Love the headline: "Republican leaders livid after Democrats force closed session on Iraq." BuzzFlash comments, "Democrats in Senate Act as An Opposition Party: Republicans Dumbstruck."
