"Clinton and Obama Nearly Identical in Cash-On-Hand"

Political Wire:
"When the official reports went public on the Federal Election Commission website, they showed that Hillary Clinton raised more money but Barack Obama eked out his own victory by virtually matching the amount of cash she has in the bank to spend on the hard-fought primary race," the Politico reports.

Of Clinton's $50 million in cash-on-hand, "about $34 million can be spent on the primary, while $16 million is for the general election. Clinton also reported carrying $2 million in debts, driving her ready cash figure down to around $32 million."

Obama ended the quarter with $36 million in cash, and after subtracting debt and general election funds, his ready cash is about $32 million.
