"Obama Stumps In Northwest"

AP:
SEATTLE - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is formally opening his campaign in Washington with a series of fund-raisers Friday.

His agenda includes a speech to as many as 5,000 people at 5:30 p.m. the WaMu Theater in the Qwest Field Event Center, followed by two receptions at the Westin Hotel. Ticket prices range from $25-100 at Quest Field and up to $2,300 at the Westin.

State Democratic Party Chairman Dwight Pelz says Obama and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina seem to be top choices among the party faithful in Washington, followed by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York.
Howie P.S.: I'll be at the WaMu Theater and will post about it later.
