How much will your state get from the economic stimulus plan? The Senate Democratic Policy Committee has created fact sheets for each state [1] with data on everything from school computers to senior meals. If you want to dig deeper, the Congressional Research Service has a spreadsheet on how much your school district will get [2] for special education and to help failing students. The Center for American Progress has a map [3] that compares overall funding to each state's gross state product.H/t to Kim Schwarzkopf.
I started posting on HowieinSeattle in 11/04, following progressive American politics in the spirit of Howard Dean's effort to "Take Our Country Back." I decided to follow my heart and posted on seattleforbarackobama from 2/07 to 11/08.--"Howie Martin is the Abe Linkin' of progressive Seattle."--Michael Hood.
