Seattle music in progressive American music history (video)

Howie P.S.: Many are familiar with "Black and White" the rock "classic" by Three Dog Night from 1972. Less known facts about the song:
1. The words are by Dave Arkin, father of actor Alan Arkin.
2. The music is by (West) Seattle native son Earl Robinson, who also wrote the music to the American labor and organizing anthem "Joe Hill." Joan Baez sang "Joe Hill" @ Woodstock '69, video (05:11).
