Tim Nuse on Dow's Replacement

34th District Dems Chair Tim Nuse on the King County Council appointment process for replacing King County Exec Dow Constantine:
“It’s very disappointing. The district needs representation. We’ve got the right choice with Sen. McDermott … (for now) they’ve clearly put politics ahead of the interests of the public. But we stayed here all night, we’ll be working for the next two weeks, and when they reconvene, this room will be packed.”
