The P-I finally notices the election vote story with, "Doubts persist about election results." They cover the governor's recount with "New votes surface in recount But Rossi picks up 28 more than Gregoire to lengthen his lead." The Times has "Rossi keeps slim lead as recount crawls on." The Times story, while full of chatty anecdotes about the counting room, fails to mention the impending Washington Supreme Court review of the Democrats suit to also count 15,000 discarded votes. And the Times finally notices the problems in Ohio with, "Cleveland paper cites voter problems." I've still got the deck of Howard Dean playing cards, but I should give them to Annie Robbins, who had a nice "conversation" with an editor at the P-I on this subject.
