QUOTES OF THE DAY (UPDATED)

"King County election officials said today they will count 561 votes that were rejected in the governor's race. "-from the story in the Seattle Times, posted at 3:28 pm today. An earlier story in the P-I says, "King County Elections Director Dean Logan will ask the county Canvass Board to amend the results of the Nov. 2 election to include hundreds of absentee ballots that Logan says were wrongly rejected."
