"Governor Praises Dean During New Hampshire Visit--BEDFORD, N.H. -- Gov. Bill Richardson was in New Hampshire on Tuesday, touting New Mexico's accomplishments and raising questions about whether he was sounding a lot like a national politician. On Tuesday morning, he spoke at a political series that is a regular stop for presidential hopefuls -- a politics and eggs breakfast in Bedford, N.H. Richardson said that Howard Dean is doing a good job as head of the Democratic National Committee. Richardson, chairman of the national Democratic Governors' Association, made the comments after the speech in Bedford. Richardson said Dean is reaching out to state Democratic parties. Dean, a former Vermont governor, said recently that Republicans have never made an honest living and House Majority Leader Tom DeLay ought to go back to Houston where he can serve his jail sentence. Richardson said he wouldn't have made the comments that Dean did, but on the whole he believes Dean is doing a good job."-from the story today on TheNewMexicoChannel.
